Organizational change is constant and so is an employee's work arrangement. As organizations continue to flatten and organize work around projects, being assigned to multiple teams and reporting to multiple direct supervisors, has become the norm for the majority of knowledge workers.

My research examines leadership and followership dynamics in complex team arrangements. Particularly, my main research identity explores the growing reality for most employees of reporting to more than one direct supervisor and often being members of multiple project teams. This primary research identity is comprised of two research streams: 1) leadership and followership dynamics, and 2) the influence of being members of complex team arrangements on employees’ attitudes and work behaviors.
